Brief:
Peter Pham is a Graphic Design Instructor employed at Gateway Technical College in Southeastern Wisconsin. During the downtime, he is also: a freelance creative, a father/husband, a foodie and gourmet cook, a film buff, a reader, a photographer, and a continuing student himself.
Purpose:
This blog will be used to share useful information with students and friends. After beginning blogging in 2007, I stopped to focus on social media (MySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn) entirely, closing all my Wordpress and Blogger sites.
With Facebook become preeminent, I noticed a problem getting posts read when feeds sometimes included 400 or more 'friends.' It was hard to ensure that friends and students would actually even see some of the posts in their feeds.
It was in the summer of 2010, after realizing that Facebook was great for some things, but not others that I reactivated Blogger as a platform for this purpose.
