Unexpected Backgrounds 2…err…em… Behind the scenes

Often the finished photo is built upon some unexpected "roots," as discussed in the earlier "unexpected backgrounds" post. One of the things I do a lot of as an instructor is read articles (and journals, and tech reports).
One night I stumbled across this article on another blog: "Bored Panda"(a really good blog btw).
On the blog, the photographer featured (LUGAR PHOTO- Gilmar Silva), generously shares his behind the camera scenes.
To all those who feel they need a huge crew, or a lot of equipment and a really fancy studio… here's some ideas.
